What you’ll do
Start
Verify players, mode, and stake; green-light lobbies once both sides are ready.
Watch
Monitor open/in-progress matches on RefBoard. Request evidence if disputes pop up.
Settle
Make fair rulings based on rules; settle winners or cancel lobbies, and log outcomes in Discord.
How refs work
  1. Queue & lobbies: Watch RefBoard for open/filling matches; step in if verification is needed.
  2. Verification: Confirm players, mode, and stake. Ensure both sides are ready before start.
  3. Live oversight (as needed): Request proof (clips/screenshots/match IDs) and rule quickly.
  4. Settle / Cancel: Use RefBoard to settle winners or cancel per policy; note it in mod logs.
  5. Escalate: If anything feels off, escalate to a senior ref/admin before settling.
Tools you’ll use
  • /refboard — open / in-play / past matches + settle/cancel tools.
  • Discord — ref schedule, dispute threads, evidence review, escalation.
Pay & payouts
  • Rate: $12 USDC/hr to start.
  • Raises: Performance-based increases for accuracy, responsiveness, and positive feedback.
  • Crypto payouts: Paid in USDC to a wallet you control (weekly or threshold-based).
  • Time tracking: Post on/off times and quick action summaries in the Discord ref schedule thread.

We may verify your wallet with a small test transaction before your first payout.

What you can do
  • Verify players, stakes, and lobby settings.
  • Green-light lobbies once both sides are ready.
  • Request evidence during disputes.
  • Make rulings per rulebook; settle winners on RefBoard.
  • Cancel lobbies that violate rules or miss readiness time limits.
  • Escalate edge cases to senior staff.
What you can’t do
  • Change rules or payout formulas on the fly.
  • Coach players mid-series or wager while reffing.
  • Share private player data or internal logs outside staff channels.
  • Override anti-cheat/ban policies or forgive major violations alone.
  • Settle outcomes without reasonable evidence when a dispute exists.
Core policies (quick read)
  • Evidence window: Players must submit proof shortly after match end (see rulebook).
  • Match integrity: Wrong mode/map/settings → restart or cancel per rules.
  • No-shows: Late players can be timed out; cancel or award per policy.
  • Communication: Keep messages short, neutral, and in the match channel.
  • Appeals: Escalate politely; final decisions are documented in staff logs.
